Some carpet stains seem impossible to remove. Here are a few suggestions to help you to get out two common carpet stains.
The first common stain is candle wax. When you think of candle wax stains, they seem pretty impossible to get out. Here is a suggestion to help you to get that stain out. The first step to treating that stain is to let the wax cool. Then try to scratch off as much of the wax as possible off of the fibers. The next step is to put paper towels on top of the cooled wax and press a warm dry iron on top. After that cools, fluff the fibers with your fingers.
The second common stain is red wine. With red wine, you will want to blot the spill with absorbent cloths right away. Then, spritz or sponge the stain with cold water. Next, sponge with a mix of 1 Tbsp each liquid dish soap and white vinegar to 2 cups of warm water. Blot dry. Then spritz or sponge again with cold water to rinse. Lastly, blot dry.
